This page sets out the disclaimers that apply to smartphonefield.com and the Smart Phone Field WordPress plugin, operated by Nahnu Plugins.
1. No Warranty
Smart Phone Field is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The Plugin will meet your specific requirements
- The Plugin will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs
- The Plugin will be compatible with every theme, plugin, hosting environment, or WordPress configuration
- Any defects in the Plugin will be corrected within a specific timeframe
- The Plugin will remain compatible with future versions of WordPress or WooCommerce
2. Compatibility
Smart Phone Field is designed for use with the WooCommerce classic shortcode checkout. We do not currently support the WooCommerce block checkout (Gutenberg). Using the Plugin in unsupported environments may produce unexpected results.
It is your responsibility to test the Plugin in a staging environment before deploying it to a live site. We strongly recommend maintaining backups before installing or updating any WordPress plugin.
3. Third-Party Services
Smart Phone Field integrates with WooCommerce. Our website uses SureCart and Stripe for payment processing, Postmark for email delivery, and self-hosted instances of Plausible, Matomo, and MailerPress.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any of these third-party services. Their availability, pricing, terms, and functionality are outside our control. We are not liable for any issues, losses, or damages arising from your use of or reliance on these services.
4. Phone Number Validation
Smart Phone Field uses the intl-tel-input library to validate phone number formats. While we strive for accuracy, phone number formats can change and validation may not catch every invalid number or accept every valid one. We do not guarantee that all phone numbers validated by the Plugin are reachable or in active use.
5. Legal and Regulatory Compliance
Using the Plugin to collect customer phone numbers may be subject to privacy laws, telecommunications regulations, and consent requirements in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA, and the TCPA.
It is your sole responsibility as the store owner to ensure your use of the Plugin complies with all applicable laws. Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice. We recommend consulting a qualified legal professional if you have questions about your compliance obligations.
